hi love, I'm Peighton!
I fell in love with lacrosse at three years old, growing up on the sidelines of Maryland women's lacrosse games, idolizing the players I just knew I'd become one day. And I did — but the road looked nothing like I imagined. At the peak of my recruiting career, I was diagnosed with a syndrome so rare that doctors tested me for it as a last resort, on a machine kept in an unused hospital basement. One specialist told me I'd never compete again. Instead, I flew to Wyoming every few months for experimental treatments, fought my way to a college commitment, tore my ACL my senior season, transferred, sat a year — and then tore my other ACL in my first practice back. My whole identity was lacrosse. And over and over, my body took it from me.
That's where SoulStone really began. In those seasons on the sideline, I stopped asking "why me?" and started asking, "Okay God — what are you trying to teach me right now?" What I found was purpose: my pain wasn't the end of my story, it was the training ground for it. Today, as a licensed dietitian and mentor, I walk through life with my athletes — whether we're talking fueling, lacrosse, recruiting, or the hard stuff nobody sees. My approach is simple: wisdom, guidance, and empowerment. I want to be the person who grabs your hand when you feel helpless, shows you the way through, and celebrates like crazy with you on the other side. Because every athlete deserves someone in their corner who sees them — not just their stats.
